After 31 years in private practice, Dr. Misek joined the medical management team at SecureCare as the Director of Chiropractic Medical Management. In addition to his practice, Dr. Misek enjoyed building a Med-Legal practice focusing on records review, IME’s, malpractice, and courtroom testimony.
Outside of SecureCare, Dr. Misek is a member of the Nebraska Board of Chiropractic and sits on multiple medical advisory committees. His personal goal is to enhance the medical review process at SecureCare through the development of innovative ideas and personal communication.
Dr. Mark Knoll is the chief medical officer for SecureCare. Before joining SecureCare, Dr. Knoll spent over 30 years practicing chiropractic in Nebraska. As chief medical officer, Dr. Knoll chairs SecureCare’s credentialing and clinical review committees. He is also a member of the credentialing committee at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. Dr. Knoll received his doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic and attended undergraduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Erick Alvarez joined SecureCare in 2018 as the physical therapy medical director. Alvarez has worked in both clinical practice and managed physical medicine for over 20 years. He has worked as a site coordinator and clinical director in outpatient physical therapy practice and has vast experience in various clinical settings including outpatient physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, home health pediatrics, worker’s compensation/industrial setting, utilization management and telerehabilitation. Alvarez graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
